But since the show is still in production, that guide is no longer complete. And can you really live a second longer without a full list of last season's blackboard inscriptions? Simpsons creator Matt Groening and editor Scott M. Gimple come to the rescue with The Simpsons Forever! A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family--Continued. It's a complete listing of all the episodes of the ninth and tenth seasons, including screen shots, dialogue highlights (Moe, packing for Hawaii: "Ukulele, pineapples, beach pistol, scandalously revealing thong...") and "Stuff You May Have Missed" such as the fact that the motto of In 'n' Out Ear Piercing is "If It Dangles, We'll Punch a Hole in It". There are also brief bios of guest characters (Senor Ding Dong hates Chevy vans) song lyrics (Marge and Homer's version of "Those Were the Days") and a fond-without-being-icky tribute to Troy McClure. well kids, if you got the first one (and loving it) then there's no reason on earth to miss this follow-up! of course, following the rule that the sequel is never as good as the first original, this second guide to our favorite family does seem somewhat weaker than its predecessor in its exhausive compilation and details, nevertheless the style is still true to the original and it even backs up some of the missing links found in the first book. these two guides just can't go without the other. an essential must-have for all the simpsons' fans. highly recommendable.

Great Continuation Juli 30, 2000
This book is an excellent continuation of The Simpsons: A Complete Guide To Our Favorite Family. The Simpsons Forever! begins exactly where its predecessor left off by covering the ninth and tenth seasons of this famous show. Each episode has a synopsis, a list of things you might have missed, and a list of some of the highlights from the episode. Included in this book is a list of the different beginning sequences of the show, a list of the times Homer says D'oh, and of course there are bios on many of the side characters that pop up on the show. There are many other things included that are too numerous to mention. Any Simpsons fanatic needs to buy this book and its predecessor for their unlimited wealth of information about the show.

...but it covers only two seasons, for almost the same price. But if you are a true Simpsons fan, you'd buy it even if it cost twice the price.

This book most certainly lives up to its name. Every little Simpsons tidbit you would ever want or need to know is jammed somewhere in here. From everything that makes Homer salivate with hunger to all of Bart's chalkboard sayings, it's all here. Simpson fanatics look no further, this is your bible.
